Frequently Asked Questions
Are my treatment costs covered by my insurance?
We do not work directly with insurance providers, which means that you are responsible for the treatment costs yourself. For more information about payment conditions click here.
How long does treatment last?
Treatment can last anywhere from a few sessions for milder complaints to multi-year treatment for more complex problems. Treatment length is determined in consultation with the psychologist and is adapted to fit with the nature of the client’s complaints, goals, and financial considerations. You also have the right to cease treatment at any given time and for any reason.
What happens if I fail to show up for my appointment?
In the event that you miss your appointment, you will still be charged the session’s standard fee as this is considered a no-show. The no-show fee also applies if you fail to cancel or reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours in advance.
How frequently do sessions take place?
The frequency of sessions is determined together with your therapist. Sessions often take place once a week, however, they can also take place more or less frequently, depending on the client’s goals, needs, and preferences.
Where do the sessions take place?
We offer in-person sessions at our office in Rotterdam on select days. Alternatively sessions may also take place online through different video calling platforms, such as Zoom or Teams. The choice is up to you.
